Ya know what the real crime is? Every year, a few people walk around NAMM and shut off the plasma TVs with TV-B-Gones. And the exhibitors never learn their lesson. Next week, the same exhibitors will deploy the same plasma TVs as last year, and they will fail to put a piece of opaque tape over the remote receiver--usually because they're lazy, and want to control the displays with a remote anyway. They keep regretting it, and yet they keep re-setting up for embarrassment year after year....

However, there really aren't that many plasma sets being used as booth displays at NAMM. Not like the CES, where the actual set mfrs. are ALWAYS showing massive banks of them.

I think this Gizmodo post was the best free advertising the TV-B-Gone people have ever gotten.
